  1. CustomDOC(TM) Demo Information
  2.  
  3. System Requirements:
  4.  
  5. DOS v3.1 or later & MS Windows(tm) v3.1 or later
  6. 80386SX CPU (80486SX or higher recommended)
  7. 4Mb RAM Minimum (8Mb recommended)
  8. VGA 16 Color Display (640x480 with 256 colors recommended)
  9. 5.0Mb Free Hard Disk Space 
  10. Digital Audio Board with External Speakers Optional  
  11.  
  12. Installation Instructions:

  14. 1) Run SETUP.EXE from within the Windows Program Manager or File Manager.
  15.  
  16.      Select: File...Run
  17.        Type: a:\setup or b:\setup
  18.      Press: [Enter]
  19.           
  20. 2) Once installation is complete, you may view the demo by double clicking 
  21. on the CustomDOC Demo icon located in the PTS Demos program group. The demo 
  22. player and presentation may take up to 30 seconds to load into memory.

  24. Complete the following procedure if the demo fails to begin playing after a
  25. successful installation. 
  26.  
  27. 1) Confirm that PLAYACT.EXE is running. If necessary, you can load PLAYACT.EXE 
  28. by double clicking on it within the Windows File Manager.
  29.  
  30. 2) Once PLAYACT.EXE is running, open the presentation file CDEMO1.ACP. 
  31.  
  32. 4) Select File...Play Presentation.
  33.  
  34. Complete the following procedure if the demo loads but does not appear to 
  35. run properly.
  36.  
  37. 1) Confirm that you are using the latest available display driver for your
  38. system. If a more recent driver is unavailable, use the Windows SETUP program
  39. to select the standard VGA driver that ships with Microsoft Windows.
  40.  
  41. 2) Type MEM [Enter] at the DOS command line prompt and confirm that you have 
  42. at least 512Kb of conventional memory available for program execution.
  43.  
  44. 3) Free some additional space on your system's hard disk. Ideally you should 
  45. still have at least 4Mb of free space available after installing the demo.
  46.
